Prepare for the New Year
Evaluate your 2020
First, it is important to have a look at the previous year, analyse what has happened.
These questions can help you:
1. What are your main achievements, the greatest events of 2020?
2. How are four areas in your life, shortly describe the current situation, condition of:
- Physical wellbeing
- Mental wellbeing
- Spiritual wellbeing
- Emotional wellbeing
3. How did you improve, what new did you discover, learn?
4. What are you grateful for?
You can express your gratitude to people who helped you, inspired you.
Prepare practically for the New Year
- Take it easy, prepare but don’t stress, do your best according to your priorities
- Rest well, to meet new year in an active, strong and healthy condition
- Tidy up: home, devices (computer, phone, etc.)
- Pay the bills, debts, give back things you have borrowed
- Apologize if you have hurt anyone and forgive the ones who hurt you
Organise your 2021 New Year
- What are your greatest dreams? Write in details as much as you can.
- What are your main goals?
Describe your goals using the SMART system (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) - What can you do to reach those goals?
- What do you want to improve and do in each area:
Physical wellbeing – nutrition, exercise, relaxation
Mental wellbeing – reading, writing, journaling, studying, learning
Spiritual wellbeing – meditating, praying, time in nature, spiritual books, music
Emotional/ social wellbeing – relationships - Prioritise your time
